How to book your wedding cake

Booking your wedding cake should be one of the most enjoyable parts of your planning process. My aim is to make the arrangements as easy as possible for you, right through from the tasting to the set up of the cake on your wedding day. Here's how it works...

1. Check Availability

Once you have your wedding date booked, drop me a line to check availability. I only take on a limited amount of orders per week to ensure that I give each cake the time and attention it deserves, so would suggest booking early to avoid disappointment. If you like my designs and are keen to book your cake in the diary before the consultation stage, then a £100 non-refundable booking fee, which will be deducted from the final cost, will secure it for you.               

2. Book a Consultation

This is where you get to eat cake and I get to hear all about your wedding cake dreams. It's a win-win. My no-obligation, free consultation is held at my kitchen in Finmere and takes no more than an hour. Come armed with your inspiration, colour swatches or even send me a link to your Pinterest board. You can choose up to three pre-selected flavours to try so take a look at the menu and be inspired!

3. Secure your Order

After your consultation, I will sketch up a design for you along with a quotation. If you're happy to proceed, a non-refundable booking fee of £100, which will be deducted from the final cost, will secure your order and the balance will be due 4 weeks before the big day. I will make all the necessary arrangements with your venue and other suppliers as required, so all you need to worry about is how big your slice of the cake is going to be!
